We only collect information you choose to give us through our forms, including:
- Volunteer & contact forms: your name, email, phone number, ZIP/neighborhood, and any message or interests you provide.
- Youth enrollment form: student and parent/guardian names, contact details, school/grade, interests, and consent responses.
- Technical data: basic, non-identifying request data (such as approximate region and browser type) used solely to prevent spam and abuse.
How we use your information
- To respond to your messages and follow up about volunteering or events.
- To coordinate the youth leadership program with appropriate parent/guardian consent.
- To comply with applicable California and federal campaign finance and election laws.
Minors
Participants under 18 must have parent or legal guardian consent before participating, and for students under 13 a parent or legal guardian must complete the enrollment. We collect youth information only with that consent and use it solely for the youth leadership program.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare hosts this site and provides security (including bot protection via Cloudflare Turnstile) and form processing.
- Anedot securely processes any online contributions. Donations are handled entirely on Anedot's secure platform under their privacy policy.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Data retention & security
Information submitted through our forms is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and retained only as long as needed for campaign and legal-compliance purposes. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.
Your choices
